Explore AjMadison’s wide selection of washtowers and other laundry room essentials! A washtower is a high-end version of a laundry center – a stacked washer and dryer that are connected via a central control panel. What distinguishes washtowers from standard laundry centers is a combination of luxury-grade designs, higher capacities, up to 1,300 RPM spin speeds, and advanced cleaning technologies not available on standard units. For instance, many washtowers are smart appliances which connect to Wi-Fi, allowing you to control them remotely from your smartphone to run steam cycles and other programs. Many of these same units can also connect to your smart home manager, making them operable with Amazon Alexa and Google Home.
Every brand that manufactures washtowers has added their own unique spin on the appliance that enhances its appeal to a variety of consumer needs. LG washtowers can choose the best wash settings using fabric and soil sensors to ensure efficient, safe cleaning. The dryer drum will preheat based on the remaining time of your wash cycle, enabling you to complete an entire load in just under an hour! Samsung washtowers come equipped with smart dials that learn your washing preferences, allowing you to quickly select your most used settings every time you do laundry. Electrolux washtowers have an Adaptive Dispenser™ with dedicated compartments for detergent, fabric softener, liquid bleach, stain pretreating solution, and even PODS®! Unlike traditional washers which require direct placement of PODS® into the drum, the Adaptive Dispenser™ will pierce and flush them into the wash so the packaging does not get stuck.
Washtowers are available in both vented and ventless designs to adapt to your home’s layout and any intended installation spot. Many are also ENERGY STAR certified, ensuring their cycles are eco-friendly and won’t run up your electricity bill.

Can an LG WashTower wash and dry at the same time?
Yes, LG’s WashTower can run a washing and drying cycle simultaneously, allowing you to complete laundry loads in the same amount of time as a separate washer and dryer.
What are the benefits of a Washtower?
Washtowers have advanced washing and drying technologies that are gentle on clothes, complete cycles quickly, and enable remote operation from a smart device in many cases. Their stacked designs take up a small footprint in your home, so they can be installed in narrow laundry room spaces or even a closet.
Can a Washtower be separated?
No, washtowers are stacked, all-in-one washer/dryer units connected to a single control panel, unlike stackable washer and dryer sets which are connected by a stacking kit.
