MED2 Series 24 Inch All-Freezer with 3.2 Cu. Ft. Capacity
Specially designed to store vaccines and other sensitive materials in medical, scientific, pharmaceutical, and laboratory institutions, these all-freezers of Accucold by Summit Appliance offers a 3.2 cu. ft. interior capacity and extra-thick walls for reliable insulation. The front-breathing design allows built-in installation under lower ADA compliant counters, while the fully finished cabinet in white also enables freestanding use. It has an external front control panel that lets users adjust and monitor the temperature without opening the door or bending down to the floor. It also comes with a pre-installed 3/8" probe hole for users who wish to install additional monitoring equipment and a hospital-grade "green dot" cord for added safety in high traffic environments.
It has slide-out baskets with clear plastic fronts that allow users to view stored contents without exposing them to room temperature every time you opened the door, a flat door liner, and a front-keyed lock for added security. It also features a thermometer with an audible alarm to warn users if the interior has gone out of the programmed temperature range and a buffered temperature probe. This low-temperature freezer operates between -20°C to -30°C, an ideal temperature for certain vaccines, samples, and other sensitive medical materials.
As recommended by the CDC and VFC programs, this unit is equipped with a NIST calibrated thermometer that displays the current, minimum, and maximum temperatures to the nearest tenth of a degree with a readout viewable in Celsius or Fahrenheit and comes with a certificate of calibration for your records.
