This unit does not ship with a power cord and must be hard-wired by a professional. For maximum user safety, this cooktop has a 30-minute automatic shutoff mechanism that deactivates each burner after half an hour of no user activity to prevent unsupervised cooking. It also shuts down if powered on without use after one minute and features a child lock to avoid accidental changes. The SINCH230V2B is equipped with easy-to-use digital controls that are located up front to comply with ADA guidelines for user accessibility, ensuring users don't have to reach over a hot burner to make adjustments.
