This cooktop features two 1,200W standard 6" elements to accommodate most general cooking needs. For maximum user safety, this cooktop has a 30-minute automatic shutoff mechanism that deactivates each burner after half an hour of no user activity to prevent unsupervised cooking. It also shuts down if powered on without use after one minute and features a child lock to avoid accidental changes. The SINCH115V2B is equipped with easy-to-use digital controls that are located up front to comply with ADA guidelines for user accessibility, ensuring users don't have to reach over a hot burner to make adjustments. With its ideal size and advanced safety features, the SINC2B115V is the perfect cooktop to ensure intuitive, safe cooking in various small kitchen settings.
NOTE: Induction cooling utilizes magnetized energy that starts inside the cookware, meaning the temperature of the actual cooktop surface does not get nearly as hot as traditional gas or electric elements.
