GE Profile 30" Downdraft Electric Cooktop
Sleek and easy to clean, this glass cooktop features a convenient downdraft exhaust system which draws greasy smoke, steam and odors down into the cooktop where it is contained in a filter which can be easily cleaned by hand with soapy water. Depending on the intensity of your cooking, the ventilation fan has a high, medium and low speed setting.
In front of the center-placed downdraft ventilation grille are the rotary control knobs for the four (4) burners. The front-right Power Boil burner has a maximum power output of 3,000 watts which is great for high-powered cooking such as boiling a large pot of water for pasta. The front-right burner can also alternate sizes between 6" and 9". The back-right Melt burner is designed for lower-powered cooking such as warming or simmering foods. The left-side burners, both with a maximum wattage of 1,800, are suitable for all types of cooking and can incorporate an 800-watt bridge element to elongate the cooking surface area.
