The KRAUS® Garbage Disposal Air Switch Kit offers a sleek and functional alternative to traditional wall-mount toggle switches, allowing you to activate your garbage disposal with the push of a button while creating a coordinated look with your kitchen faucet. The air switch mounts to your countertop or sink deck, simplifying installation and making it easy to use your disposal. By eliminating the need for a dedicated wall switch, this device helps ensure that there is no live electricity at countertop level, offering a worry-free alternative to an electrical switch that can carry the risk of shock if operated with wet and soapy hands. The threaded housing can be installed into countertops up to 2 thick, or into a top mount sink deck with standard 1 1/4 soap dispenser accessory hole. Durable stainless steel construction and ABS components help ensure long-lasting operation. The universal design can be used with most disposals on the market, including the KRAUS® Kore™ Garbage Disposal (model # KWD100-100MBL). The air switch is ideal for use on a kitchen island, where it is not possible to place a traditional wall outlet to power a garbage disposal. The streamlined button creates a clean and integrated look, and comes in a range of wear-resistant finish options to match your kitchen faucet, including Spot-Free Stainless Steel finish that resists water spots and fingerprints.
