Under the sleek, glass surface of this 30" GE electric cooktop are four (4) radiant ribbon burners that offer a lot of versatility for different methods of cooking. The front-right burner has a maximum output of 3,100 watts which is perfect for rapid boiling. The two left-side burners have the same output of 1,500 watts which is really handy for cooking with large pots or pans, or even a griddle. These two burners can be synchronized to work in tandem to cover more surface area with identical heating settings.

Touch sensor controls add to the cooktop's smoothtop surface for a clean look. The lighting is red and shows which burners are on and at what setting. All burners can be suddenly turned off with the touch of one button when required. There is a control lock setting as a safeguard against children accidentally turning on a burner. Red lighting also indicates when the burners are still hot after use, and there's a handy kitchen timer in the controls so you can focus on other things and not on the clock.
