Part of Vent-A-Hood's Magic Lung Designer Series, this hood is concave with thick lip styling. Its stainless steel construction, mirrored trim and chrome pot rail make this hood an eye-catching kitchen center piece. The recommended mounting height is 30" above the cooking surface. The hood comes equipped with LED lighting and a filterless Magic Lung blower, or a line of multiple blowers depending on the width of the hood. Working in tandem, Vent-A-Hood's patented Magic Lung blowers are quiet yet powerful by combining sufficient air pressure and constant speed with centrifugal filtration, like a washing machine on the final spin cycle. Because the Magic Lung blower uses centrifugal filtration rather than conventional baffle or mesh filters, the Magic Lung blower can handle cooking equipment with higher CFM requirements, and it can deliver equivalent CFM much more efficiently than other filtration systems. It's like getting extra CFM power at no cost at all! As a safety feature, this same technology prevents potential fire from entering and spreading in the ductwork. After all is done, the Magic Lung housing snaps apart for easy cleaning in the dishwasher or with warm, soapy water.
