The Amana Hot Water Heat Kit (HWK03E / HWK03K) is a field-installed hydronic accessory that transforms standard PTAC units into compact hot water heaters compatible with central boiler systems. Designed to fit Amana G-, H-, J- and K-series chassis, this kit replaces the unit’s front panel to house hot water coils and plumbing, offering left- or right-side piping and seamless wall-thermostat control. The slide-out chassis ensures easy service access without disturbing the plumbing, and the system supports up to 200 °F water supply with optional freeze protection using antifreeze—making it a reliable, code-compliant option for integrating hydronic heating in PTAC installations
