The Amana Hydronic Trans Kit 230V is a specialized accessory designed to integrate hydronic heating capability into Amana PTAC (Packaged Terminal Air Conditioner) units. Ideal for applications using a centralized hot water or steam boiler system, this kit replaces the standard front chassis of the unit to accommodate a hydronic heat coil. It offers flexible installation with left or right piping configurations and features plug-in electrical connections for easier setup. Designed with serviceability in mind, the chassis can be removed for maintenance without disconnecting the plumbing. The kit supports water temperatures up to 200°F and operating pressures up to 200 PSIG, with steam models rated up to 5 PSIG. Complete with transition components, support brackets, and necessary mounting hardware, this 230V kit provides a reliable and efficient solution for enhancing PTAC units with hydronic heating functionality.
