Summit's selection of specialty appliances includes accessible range hoods specially designed to be installed in compliance with Sections 308 and 309 of the ADA Guidelines. Model H36RSSADA is a 36" wide range hood ideal for apartments, senior living kitchens, hotel suites, and other smaller spaces. It features an attractive stainless steel finish with a horizontal grain. It includes a remote terminal block and wall switch cover to allow the controls to be installed separately from the hood and at a lower, accessible height by ADA guidelines. Two-speed fan controlled by a rocker switch for a high and low ventilation setting.
This hood is convertible for horizontal or vertical ducted ventilation or ductless/recirculating ventilation where no exhaust connection to the outside is available. It ships ready for standard 3 1/4" x 10" rectangular ducting, but it can be used with a round 6" or 7" duct with the addition of a transition (not included). It includes a metal mesh filter to catch grease and a charcoal filter to absorb smoke and odors when used in recirculating applications.
