The Friedrich Floating Air Single Zone Systems feature high efficiency ratings, low ambient heating and cooling capacities. The 115V Select and Pro Systems use the same indoor wall unit. Low ambient heating and cooling capacities are based on the outdoor unit. The Friedrich Select FSHW091C Single Zone System is rated for 9,000 BTU cooling and 9,500 BTUs heating capacity. It will operate in the cooling mode with outdoor temperatures as low as 5°F and as high as 118°F. In the heating mode, it will offer operation down to -5°F and up to 75°F. The Friedrich Pro FPHW091C Single Zone System is also rated for 9,000 BTU cooling and 9,500 BTUs heating capacity. It will operate in the cooling mode with outdoor temperatures as low as 5°F and as high as 118°F. In the heating mode, it will offer operation down to -13°F and up to 75°F. Single Zone units are ideal for heating and cooling a single room. While neither is ideal as your primary heat source in the majority of the country, either offer a great option for secondary heat.
