30 Inch Slide-In Induction Electric Range with Convection
Bring the latest in cooking technology into your kitchen with Frigidaire's 30" induction range from their chic Gallery series. Induction cooking utilities the power of magnetism to make the cooking apparatus the source of the heat versus a flame or radiant coil. An alternating magnetic field penetrates the cookware and creates a resistance within it, making the pan become the source of heat.
There are five induction zones that are designed for any type of cooking. The front elements are designed for high-powered cooking such as boiling water or frying foods, while the back elements are made for gentle heating or simmering. The center induction zone is specialized for keeping foods warm until everything is ready to be served.
The oven provides a variety of convenient features as well. Capable of convection baking, broiling and roasting, the oven uses a single convection fan and heating element to circulate hot air throughout the oven for faster and more even multi-rack baking. There are three oven racks to cook multiple items at once, and flavors will never transfer between different pans or sheets.
The included temperature probe is very handy and allows the oven to control itself. Once the meat reaches the desired, set temperature, the oven goes to warming mode until the meal is served. There is a Quick Pre-Heat setting to pre-heat the oven in just minutes, and the Delay Start feature will begin cooking in advance by up to 24 hours. When all cooking is done, there is a quick 20-minute steam clean setting to clean up light messes, or a high-powered, 2-hour self-clean to be used periodically over the year.
