Plus, it will NOT void or limit any warranty issued by any water heater manufacturer. The Heater Guard has a 5 micron pre-sediment filter and 100% FDA-approved food-grade polyphosphate. PLEASE NOTE:
1) Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system. Install in cold water feed applications only. Install in compliance with local and state regulations.

2) Do not use to filter salt softened water (sodium or potassium chloride).

3) Well water is required to have independent, complete and proper testing of your well water to determine the proper course of action in order to specify the correct system(s).
