There is a rapid "Heat Accelerator" technology for no-wait cooking. It heats 50% faster than gas! Enjoy exceptional temperature control with 12 cooking settings. The cooktop fits up to five (5) pots or pans. There is a seamless 2-burner bridging burner, perfect for grilling or searing with the dual zone plancha/grill plate (sold separately). Melt chocolate or make delicate sauces with gentle simmer capabilities down to 200° F. There's also a 150° "Keep Warm" setting. The cooktop is finished with BlueStar's intuitive design with sleek push-to-turn knobs and an easy-to-clean, scratch-resistant, non-staining glass top. The display has crisp natural white indicator lighting. For safety in the kitchen, there is a knob-lock feature and a hot surface indicator light. What's more, you can customize the cooktop with 190 color knob options and 10 metal finishes on the trim around the knobs.
