When you install VTACs in your guest rooms, your guests will feel more at home. Since a VTAC is installed in an enclosed "closet" (with an outside wall) there is no floor clutter near the window, opening up space and giving your rooms a more appealing look. No other unit in the industry offers so many extras already built-in as standard on every unit. Some of these features include high-efficiency operation, quiet operation, reliability, and durability. The new AVH243 VTAC units are 51 7/8" while still keeping the same 23 1/8" x 23 1/8" footprint as the smaller models. The AVH243H75AXXX features 22,500 cooling BTUs and 19,500 heat pump BTUs plus a 6.1 / 7.5 kW electric back-up heater size. With an Amana VTAC, installation is as easy as installing a PTAC. Everything is charged, piped, and pre-wired. Since it is installed in a closet, it gives you the added option of conditioning in more than one room. It is a perfect solution for suite hotels, assisted living and nursing homes, even dorm suites.
