Accucold's Pharma-Lab Performance Series features reach-in refrigerators and matching freezers designed and purpose-built to meet the demanding needs for pharmacy, medication, vaccine, laboratory, and life science applications. The ARS23ML is a 23 cu. ft. all-refrigerator with a +2 to +10ºC range. It features a microprocessor controller with a large digital LED display for easy temperature monitoring in Celsius or Fahrenheit. The unit features air and product sensors for precise temperature control, displaying min/max readings every 15 minutes. Alarms include temperature, power failure, door open alarms, and condenser cleaning reminders. The ARS23ML uses cycle defrost to prevent temperature spikes and top-mounted forced air cooling for fast recovery. Four adjustable wire shelves accommodate various items, and energy-efficient LED lighting activates when the door opens. The ARS23ML has a durable stainless steel exterior and interior, a sealed back, casters (2 lockings), a factory-installed lock with two keys, and magnetic gaskets for a strong seal. The self-closing door stays open at 90º for easy loading and has a right-hand swing. The ARS23ML uses hydrocarbon refrigerant for energy-efficient, large-capacity storage. It's compatible with Pyxis, Omnicell, and AcuDose RX and meets NSF-7 standards.
NOTE: Accucold refrigerators are purpose-built to the support meeting the current CDC (Centers for Disease Control) guidelines for the storage of vaccines. At this time, Accucold refrigerators have not been evaluated to the new NSF 456 standard. As referenced in the current Vaccine Storage and Handling Toolkit, these units incorporate microprocessor controls and forced air circulation for stable operation. For additional temperature assurance, the CDC recommends a calibrated digital data logger (DDL), which can be added with the factory-installed option DL2B or addition of the DL2BKit accessory.
