Accucold's Pharma-Vac Performance Series upright freezers are designed and purpose-built for pharmacy, medication, and vaccine applications, supporting compliance with CDC/VFC/VFA guidelines.
The AFS17PVDL2B is an upright frost-free all-freezer with a -30°C to -10°C range, ideal for vaccines and pharmaceuticals. It features an external microprocessor controller, glycol-buffered probe, and air temperature sensor for accurate monitoring. Alarms alert for temperature fluctuations, power failure, door ajar, and sensor issues. Additional features include remote alarm contacts, a 1/2" probe port, and a hospital-grade cord with a green-dot plug. The AFS17PVDL2B includes the DL2B digital data logger, recommended by the CDC, VFC, and VFA for vaccine storage. This password-protected, NIST-calibrated logger features a large LCD display and stores up to 32,000 data groups (expandable via an included 4GB USB flash drive.). Data is viewable on a PC or Mac in Microsoft Excel or any .CSV compatible program, and users can set custom recording intervals at increments of 10 seconds to best meet a facility's specific logging needs. Includes a 2-year calibration certificate, with re-calibration available after the certificate expires. The freezer offers 14.83 of storage with six adjustable plastic-coated wire shelves spaced in 1/2" increments. It features LED internal lighting with an on/off rocker switch and a durable white powder-coated metal interior for improved temperature retention. The AFS17PVDL2B features a white exterior with a blue control panel. It includes an antimicrobial, powder-coated handle, a factory-installed lock with two keys, and magnetic gaskets for a secure seal. Four 4" casters with brakes allow for easy movement. Additional sizes and matching all-refrigerators are also available.
Note: Accucold freezers are purpose-built to the support meeting the current CDC (Centers for Disease Control) guidelines for the storage of vaccines. As referenced in the current Vaccine Storage and Handling Toolkit, these units incorporate microprocessor controls, as well as a calibrated digital data logger (DDL) to display the current and high/low temperature.
