New Jersey's Clean Energy Program recently announced enhanced incentives for residents recovering from Hurricane Sandy. If your home is located in a zip code designated as a "major" or "minor" damaged area impacted by Hurricane Sandy, you may be eligible for the $50 clothes washer rebate even though the rebate is closed to the general public as of December 31, 2012. (If you purchased and submitted an application prior to December 31, 2012 you do not need to take any further action).

Customers seeking the incentive for purchases after January 01, 2013 should submit a hard copy of the application, and also include a certification form. If your home is located outside the eligible zip code list, you may also qualify for the $50 rebate by demonstrating that you have experienced damage caused by Hurricane Sandy (to be evaluated on a case by case basis). I had my new washer & dryer installed this past weekend so this review is coming after only a few days. I am very impressed with the cycle options and the steam feature. The engineers took everything into consideration when designing this top notch top-load washer. I love how the washer and dryer communicate at the end of a cycle so there's no question on which cycle to use when drying. The washer is so soft I forget it's on. 4/29/13

Most impressed by the quiet operation and the fact that it doesn't walk around when load is unbalanced. Clothes seem to be coming out clean. Last washer was a GE front loader-4 years old-had a few breakdowns and it was very loud from day 1. This washer seems to be an excellent purchase, will follow up after using for a few months, hopefully no mechanical issues. 4/6/13
