If you own an eligible GE Profile or Café range, you can download our no-preheat air fry cooking mode directly to your oven, for free! Create crispy, crunchy foods with less oil and no preheating. Make sure your range is connected to WiFi via the SmartHQ app, then upgrade today!

Can I Air Fry?
To see if your smart range can receive this new feature, check this lineup of models below. If your appliance is included, watch your SmartHQ app for the Update Available message, and you'll be ready to download and start cooking. We will be releasing our new In-Oven Air Fry mode to eligible GE Profile ranges over the next few weeks. Also, watch your app for other exciting new features that will become available.

How To Upgrade
Occasionally, we will release new features that we can push to your appliance through its WiFi connection.
You’ll receive a notification that the update is available.
1. Before you can download any software upgrades, make sure your appliance is connected to WiFi and our SmartHQ app. If you haven’t already set up your appliance with your WiFi, follow our instructions and you’ll be on your way. Learn how to connect
2. Once your appliance is fully connected, open your SmartHQ app on your mobile device. You’ll see a notification that your appliance has an update available. You can choose to update immediately or later.
3. When you select Apply, it can take several minutes for the update to fully download.
4. When the update has successfully downloaded, you’ll receive a message that it has finished and you can begin using your new appliance mode.
