This is a third-party warranty that I purchased for my portable air conditioner. While I completed its online registration, I have not needed to make a claim yet.
About the online registration: my particular make and model unit was not available for selection; Warrantech has no option for Amcor or Amcor A12000EH products. I had to choose the closest thing.
Also, I should have paid more attention, but I am not keen on third party warranties. I would feel more comfortable if this were AJ Madison directly backing their own merchandise.
I hope I do not have to make a claim.

You have a very short period after you purchase this item to call in or log on to their website to register it. DO NOT CALL! It was very frustrating trying to get through to a live agent just to ask questions about how to find the info they wanted to register by phone. By the second call I was tired of sitting on hold so I logged in and registered in 2 minutes. Don't waste your time calling these people! You will be on hold for 10+ minutes!

The warranty took care of problems that occured immediately after installation and I had no cost to me or problems for the repairman who came to the house.
