This unit works beautifully, its fairly quiet and vibration free. It is an unbelievable value. [...] I had it professionally installed since I needed wiring, so I can't talk about installation.

I bought it to replace a 20 year old model (also a Kitchenaid 1/2 HP Disposer). The bracket was different, but the height of the drain port was the same as the old model so I did not have to adjust the plumbing at all. The entire installation took about 2 hours from start to finish. The product works great. I was a bit worried when I received the box because it had been dropped hard enough to dent the metal casing of the disposer. There was no damage however and, as I said, the product works great. I am extremely satisfied.
