How much is delivery?
AJ Madison offers a simple way of determining the cost of delivery using our “Calculate Shipping” option. We have several delivery choices based on your location, needs and the type of product you are purchasing. Delivery charges are determined by total weight and method of the product(s) shipped. To determine delivery charges for the item(s) you are interested in purchasing on our web site, follow these steps:
- Go to the page of the product(s) you are interested in purchasing.
- Select the "Add to Cart" button.
- Go to "Your Shopping Cart".
- Look for the "Calculate Your Shipping" section in the shopping cart and enter the zip code where the product(s) are to be shipped.

What are your delivery options?
AJ Madison transports our customer’s products utilizing the quickest, most economical and secure methods possible. We offer three options depending on the product that you purchase:

UPS or Fed Ex - For most of our smaller items such as air conditioners (Under 12,000 BTUs), microwaves, and range hoods there are four options please see below.
- Ground: You should receive this within 1-7 business days after it leaves the warehouse. This is only available within the continental US.
- Next Day Air Saver: Your package will be delivered by 3:00 p.m. the following business day after we shipped your order.

- Next Day Air: Your package will be delivered by 12:00 p.m. the following business day after we shipped your order.

- 2nd Day Air: Your package will be delivered two-days after we shipped your order.

Express Deliveries Notice:
You must call our sales team at to ensure your product is eligible.

Freight Carrier - Many larger items such as ranges, large refrigerators, air conditioners (over 12,000 BTU), etc. require freight shipment. Transit times are generally 2-3 weeks and there are three options to choose from.
- Freight Carrier:
This includes delivery to your front door and no steps are included. Please
check your delivery upon arrival and if you notice any damage please refuse the delivery, note it on the delivery
slip and contact us immediately at 800-570-3355.
- White Glove Delivery:
White Glove Delivery: This delivery includes delivery to the room
of your choice. Please inspect your item at the time of delivery if you
notice any problem please contact our customer service department at

- Express Freight: If you need your order as quickly as possible, we are happy to accommodate you. Just call to receive a quote.

Local Deliveries -A local delivery is any shipment made within a specific radius of our office location (1416 38th Street, Brooklyn NY). This area includes the five boroughs, Westchester, parts of Long Island and northern New Jersey and the majority of Connecticut and Pennsylvania. To see if you qualify select the "Add To Cart" button for the product you wish to purchase and enter your zip code. From that point, choose the "How much is delivery" option.
Our local deliveries usually arrive within 1 week, if you need your appliance sooner please call our sales department at and we will do everything possible to accommodate you. Local deliveries include in-home delivery and one flight of stairs. If you need your item carried up additional flights of stairs please call our sales department at to receive a quote. There is no additional charge if your building has an elevator. We are happy to offer installation on our local deliveries. When will the product ship?
Transit times for appliances are as follows:
Outside of the NYC metro area: 1-3 weeks
Within the NYC metro area*: 2-4 days
For shipping at a later date, AJ Madison offers you the option of choosing your delivery date. If you need your appliance delivered sooner than the times stated above, please contact a sales representative at and they will do their best to accommodate your request.
Shipment times listed above assume that the item ordered is currently in stock. Items out of stock are subject to a later shipping time.

Are your products under warranty?
Yes, AJ Madison is an authorized dealer and as an AJ Madison customer you are protected. All of our products are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Many manufacturers cover up to one year parts and labor and a great deal more offer an extended warranty. AJ Madison also offers an extended warranty. What is your return policy?
AJ Madison is dedicated to our customer’s 100% satisfaction. We are confident that AJ Madison’s return policy will insure your ultimate satisfaction with your appliance purchase.
Most returns can be avoided. Before deciding on the model that you will buy, carefully measure the area in which your appliance will be placed. It is equally important to know the correct voltage of the outlet that you will be using before purchase.
Damaged Shipments
All of our shipments are 100% insured. It is very important to inspect your product thoroughly before accepting and signing for your merchandise. Though your box and packaging may appear intact, it is still possible that your product may be damaged. Check for both internal and external damage before accepting delivery. If you notice damage to the product, refuse the package and note the damage on the bill of lading. Please call our customer service department immediately at and we will issue a return merchandise authorization (RMA) number. If damage issues arise after signing for the merchandise, you are responsible for filing all claims with the shipper. Therefore a thorough inspection of all packages is important before signing. If your item was shipped via UPS, call UPS at 800-pick-ups with your tracking number to report a damaged item.
Defective Merchandise
Most products that we carry include a full warranty of at least one year. If you receive an item that is defective upon delivery and is not due to shipping damages please contact customer support at within 48 hours of receipt. If your item is defective after the first use please contact the manufacturer directly. Contact information for the manufacturer is included in the product literature.
(Note: Warranties on mini split air conditioners only include parts and do not include labor. The licensed professional who installs your air conditioner should always provide you with a labor warranty.
Product Does Not Meet Your Needs
Before deciding on the model that you will purchase, carefully measure the area in which your appliance will be placed. It is equally important to know the correct voltage of the outlet that you will be using before purchase. If you receive merchandise that does not meet your needs please call our customer service department at within 48 hours of receipt. Please remember that shipping and handling charges to and from our warehouse are not refundable and all returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee. We do not accept any returns on air conditioners or special order merchandise. Returned products must be in brand new condition with all packaging, product literature, and blank warranty cards enclosed in the exact condition in which you received them. Any product that has been installed or has attempted to be installed can not be returned.
General Return Notes and Policies
- In the event of a return, you must contact customer service receive a return merchandise authorization number (RMA).
- You must contact us within 48 hours of receiving your merchandise if your product is damaged or does not meet your needs.
- After signing for and accepting your merchandise, you are responsible for all damage claims.
- AJ Madison reserves the right to refuse all returns.
- All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
- Returned products will not be accepted unless they are in brand new condition with all packaging, product literature, and blank warranty cards enclosed in the exact condition in which you received them.
- Shipping and handling charges to and from our warehouse are not refundable.
- We do not accept returns on air conditioners and some specially ordered products due to customer error. Please be sure to read all specifications regarding merchandise before purchase and call us with any questions or concerns prior to placing your order.
