My new Cabrio does a great job in washing the clothes. I love the big drum in anticipation of washing 3 sets of sheets in it without having to do 2 loads.
If I only want to wash a small load of tea towels and a couple of dish cloths and use bleach to get them clean, the quick wash seems to be the setting to use; along with "light, fast, hot".
However, the timing for doing just a very small load such as this, is past 25 minutes.
When I called chat to ask 2 questions, and they were prompt in responding and answering curteously, 1# can we adjust the timing, and 2# can I use bleash in this particular cycle, I was told you CANNOT adjust the timing on this maching because it is preset by the factory, and that I CAN use bleach in this cycle.
I agree with some others about how long it takes to wash a load of clothes but given the fact that it is a high efficency machine using less water, it would make sense that it would take more time to agitate the clothes with less water and lower suds to get them clean.
I did buy the dryer mate for this washer and I love it. You can choose whatever cycle you want and it even has a button to adjust timing for drying.
I would suggest reading all the directions for this top loading washing machine, #especially in doing the Afresh cycle and loading the machine#, and use them appropiately and you will have great results. *The instructions say that you may use bleach in place of the Afresh for subsquent cleanings of your washer but the first time around there is an Afresh tablet that comes with the machine and I would highly suggest using it. It's to rid the machine of any manufacturing grease in the machine.
And if I am not mistaken, there is probably some water left over underneath where you can't see it or get it out and so I highly advise doing the Afresh or bleach cleaning after every 30 washings like it says. How do I know this? Because if you read the entire booklet it tells you to winterize this washing machine and put antifreeze in it and like do just water type of wash, #like you would if you were doing an Afresh cycle#, so if the machine will be left in a cold spot for a long period of time without use during the winter, water won't ice up is what I am thinking, and ruin the washing machine. So this tells me that there will always be water in it.
And is you don't use the Afresh tablet or bleach in it every 30 washes, your washer will smell funky. You want the bottom underneath part that you CAN'T see to be just as clean as the parts you can see, otherwise your clothes with smell funky too. It's just makes sense if you think about it.
And make sure that if you don't have enough time to do all your laundry in one day, to break it up and do your whites on one day, darks on another and your mixed on another, otherwise you could be up all night donig your wash like I was last night.
I will say that Whirlpool manufactures their products to last and to perform well.
In spite of having long times to wash w/o being able to adjust timing, I am sure that my Whirlpool will give my excellent performance and satisfaction for many years to come.

LARGE tub for rugs and light blankets were a plus. PLUS AJMADISON handled our order from start to finish making us happy customers."

This washer is one of those newer models with the energy savings feature (no center agitator), which I like; but it sounds like a camel in heat when it "agitates", I haven't gotten used to it yet, and I understand that washers are banging clothes around so some sound is expected; it's actually kind of funny. Other than this weird noise, this washer is great, clothes comes out perfect and the spin really gets the water out.

This product has great features. I like the clean care cycle as it allows you to wash in cold and it cares for your clothes as if they were washed in warm. This washer does not make a huge amount of noise which is nice. You almost forget your washing clothes until you hear the timer go off.
