Rated 5 out of 5 Good Machine
I've read a lot of complaints about the amount of water it uses. This is an HE appliance and does not require as much water as an older machine with an agitator does. When the clothes come out of the wash, they are well rinsed and damp enough to know that it was cleaned good.
I also read complaints about the manual not informing them of the noises. It states on page three of the manual that the machine makes different noises throughout the wash cycle that you may not be used to with your previous appliances. But, the noises are not very loud; and definitely not louder than our previous model.
Overall, I really like the washer and dryer set. It does a great job washing and drying. I really like the wrinkle free option on the dryer. If I'm not able to get the clothes out of the dryer the minute it cuts off, I select this option, and once the clothes are dry, it periodically runs for a minute or two to keep the wrinkles out until you are able to get them out.
For the price, this model is a good option.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Maya's Dad Nice product, but be aware...
As the previous poster mentioned, this machine has a different sounding characteristics.... It will be very quiet when spinning, but noisy when washing.
CHECK YOUR MACHINE: IT SHOULD HAVE A SOUND SHIELD PLATE INSTALLED AT THE BOTTOM, so that if you stick your fingers under the machine you should feel the plate seated at the bottom of the washer. That shield is suppose to make a difference, crucial if you live in a condo, and your machine is right there, not in your basement...
Otherwise, be aware that the high speed of spinning and this new design of drum may cause some buttons to tear if you elect to button your shirts before laundry.
Also, use slower spinning mode if you wash delicate clothes.

Rated 4 out of 5 Nice unit for the money
The noises the machine makes are different than our old machine. We thought something was wrong with it at first, but patience is needed to let it work.
