I have used Maytag for years and replaced the timer many times with being disgusted''' I bought this whirlpool """and with the auto setting a all the feature's,'' plus the lid locks very good saftey feature for my gran kids always exploring"" My wife love's this washer it really wash's great she has learned to use it and i am saving a ton of monies on detergent also softner Whirl[pool is the best and I will only buy this product from here on out again Thank You WHIRLPOOL

I love this washer and how easy it is to use. I definitely wanted something with a pricier price tag but I'm so happy with the way this washer performs and recommend it to all my friends and families.

I purchased this machine just over a year ago, after my old machine finally died after 15 years of use. This was a huge purchase for me, as I am a single mom with 2 kids...so money is very, very tight. I was drawn to this model for several reasons - seemed easy to use, energy efficient, senses load size which would reduce use of water, was supposed to be quiet, etc. However, I was disappointed right away....it is much noisier than my old machine, gets out of balance easily, and it takes over an hour to wash a regular load of clothes (my old machine only took 20 minutes!!). Then, right after the one-year warranty was up in February, the machine started making horrible grinding noises (but not during the spin cycle, I don't think)...like gears on gears...then 2 days ago it quit working all together! I moved it out from the wall, and found a shiny nut under it...so I'm assuming the cam assembly has come apart. I don't have the money to have a repairman come out (that could end up costing as much as the machine did!!), or to pay on online repairman to "guess" at what it might be. It seems like Whirlpool would fix this issue, as there are many others that I have read about that are having the same issue. Very unhappy with this machine, even before it quit working...do not waste your money.
