We hadn't been in need of a washer for years, so when we started researching I knew we wanted to save money and energy. We knew about HE but I was skeptical, not knowing if they would work as well as they say. Not a fan of the front loaders, but open to checking out others. We were about to purchase a different HE with an aggitator when we saw the HE LG! Top Loader. Not much more in price than the one we were about to purchase, and I liked the technology and features I saw. Capacity bigger and no middle aggitator. It's always a risk when you purchase a big appliance.
We were very impressed with the information we were given at the time of purchase and thought it would be a good washer. Well, it's a GREAT washer! We've had it over a month and have not had one issue with it. It was hard at first to get use to the fact that it measures the water per the weight of clothes, I was thinking, they'll never get cleaned. Not, so, it knows and it does a great job. Clothes are clean and it spins the water out beautifully. No more LONG drying sessions. I have done light to heavy duty clothes and they all come out VERY CLEAN!
The thing I had to get use to is very LITTLE detergent. Love that, such savings. I would recommend this washer to anyone who asks!

This washer and dryer has the disadvantage of having downward slooping tops. The next problem is the drainage system leaves water standing in the laundry detergent tray and standing water at the bleach dispenser. This is such a pain. I am going to buy a much better washer. Enough of this poorly designed machine.

My machine was delivered, set up and ready to use in a matter of minutes and use it I did. Simple and easy to understand. Wash came out great! Would recommend to anyone looking for new washer.

We are happy with our washer purchase, and would definitely buy a similar model again. My favorite feature is time delay. I do periodically have some snaps/tanktop straps/drawstrings that get caught on something and VERY twisted by cycle end. It happens infrequently enough that I don't mind untangling, but now I always make sure my snaps are snapped together. We've noticed a decrease in our utility bill since our purchase, and we are generally happy with the cleanliness of our clothes.
We have an infant at home, and started to cloth diaper. I am sad that we didn't investigate a washer with a water level adjustment prior to purchasing. The efficiency is so great that we can't quite get our diapers to wash as easy as they should due to the lack of water in the cycles. We can trick the machine to give it extra water, but cloth diapering is tough enough, why the extra work?!
