New Jersey's Clean Energy Program recently announced enhanced incentives for residents recovering from Hurricane Sandy. If your home is located in a zip code designated as a "major" or "minor" damaged area impacted by Hurricane Sandy, you may be eligible for the $50 clothes washer rebate even though the rebate is closed to the general public as of December 31, 2012. (If you purchased and submitted an application prior to December 31, 2012 you do not need to take any further action).
Customers seeking the incentive for purchases after January 01, 2013 should submit a hard copy of the application, and also include a certification form. If your home is located outside the eligible zip code list, you may also qualify for the $50 rebate by demonstrating that you have experienced damage caused by Hurricane Sandy (to be evaluated on a case by case basis). Anyone who owns a king sized bed who has ever had to go to a Laundromat to wash their comforter has to have this washing machine. The capacity rivals that of any commercial washer with one exception: It has more features! We had a rather large capacity washer and dryer previously and then upgraded our bed from a queen to a king size. Our large capacity washer and dryer just could not handle the larger sheets, blankets and comforters we now own, not without having to wash them two or three times just to make sure they even got wet. This machine is, in a word; awesome! Not only does it easily handle our largest comforter but does so with ease, and the sheets, not even an issue. We could probably do two or three sets of king sized sheets at one time if we wanted to. And for normal sized loads, I have no doubt that the capacity and features on our LG machine are getting our clothes cleaner than they were when they were brand new! Our old machine had the ability to add an extra rinse cycle which is great for someone with sensitive skin. This machine can add THREE extra rinse cycles if you need it! I honestly enjoy doing the laundry now. I never thought I'd be able to say that!

The only downside is the washer tub is a joined with a sharp bond that is far from smooth. If the rest of the tub is smooth and the competition all use a one piece smooth tub, i'm concerned about the potential of delicate clothing being harmed by the seam. Check it out, feel the "sharpness" inside the tub. Time will tell.

My wife hates doing laundry used to have it back up all the time with 5 in the family she has alot to do.The day it came hear we had 4 55 gallon trash bags full of laundry it took 2 loads per bag i was amazed and the clothes came out looking great and smelling great with lest time than the old top loader.a++++++++++++++++
