New Jersey's Clean Energy Program recently announced enhanced incentives for residents recovering from Hurricane Sandy. If your home is located in a zip code designated as a "major" or "minor" damaged area impacted by Hurricane Sandy, you may be eligible for the $50 clothes washer rebate even though the rebate is closed to the general public as of December 31, 2012. (If you purchased and submitted an application prior to December 31, 2012 you do not need to take any further action).

Customers seeking the incentive for purchases after January 01, 2013 should submit a hard copy of the application, and also include a certification form. If your home is located outside the eligible zip code list, you may also qualify for the $50 rebate by demonstrating that you have experienced damage caused by Hurricane Sandy (to be evaluated on a case by case basis). Rated 5 out of 5 by Great machine-great features Have had machine for approx 1 month now with no issues at all. Both washer and dryer are on pedestals which makes loading and unloading easy. Machine is easy to use and as previous owners have stated: wipe down door and inside rubber seal after each wash. Leave door cracked open (u can hardly tell it is open) This will prevent damp odor from drum. Compared to our last machine (top loader) difference is night and day. Got a great deal on washer and dryer and would highly recommend machine to anyone considering a front loader. 5/2/13

Boy, do I wish we had purchased these a year ago-- LAUNDRY IS A JOY. I do half the number of loads and I can tell that the clothes appreciate the gentle wash and dry they receive with these LG machines. 4/25/13
