New Jersey's Clean Energy Program recently announced enhanced incentives for residents recovering from Hurricane Sandy. If your home is located in a zip code designated as a "major" or "minor" damaged area impacted by Hurricane Sandy, you may be eligible for the $50 clothes washer rebate even though the rebate is closed to the general public as of December 31, 2012. (If you purchased and submitted an application prior to December 31, 2012 you do not need to take any further action).

Customers seeking the incentive for purchases after January 01, 2013 should submit a hard copy of the application, and also include a certification form. If your home is located outside the eligible zip code list, you may also qualify for the $50 rebate by demonstrating that you have experienced damage caused by Hurricane Sandy (to be evaluated on a case by case basis). Rated 5 out of 5 by Makes laundry fun! I am loving this washer! I haven't used all the features yet, but so far it is performing beautifully. Clothes are well washed, treated gently and most of the water is spun out of them, so dryer time is kept to a minimum. The washer is quiet, too. The one small issue I have is that mixed loads (i.e., jeans or towels mixed with normal clothes) cause the washer to have difficulty balancing the load enough to start the spin cycle. I have addressed this by holding towels and jeans out of the wash until there's enough of a load to run them by themselves, but since there's just my husband and me in the family, it would be nice to run a mixed load now and then. Despite this issue, it is fascinating to watch the washer go through its computer-driven paces, and I feel like I have a new toy! 5/8/13

And ease of use is great. uses less water and power, Great Combination. Keep up the good work. So far quality has been great ,in five years I will rate quality again. 5/1/13

The steam feature is fantastic for getting out the heavy stains, or just refreshing my dry cleanables so that I get several more wearings before I have to take them in to the dry clearns. This is a tremendous cost saver! It is easy to use, large capacity, and I have yet to have any probems with it! I am moving, and I imagine the buyer of my home will want my washer and dryer - if that is the case - I will buy another LG set when I get to the other side! 4/3/13
