I no longer have to go to a laundry mat for my bulky comforter and blankets. Yesterday, after hours of yard work in the rain, the clothes that were caked with mud and clay came out perfect. Have even had some older clothes with set in stains come clean after being washed in the new washer! It is a bit intimidating at first with a rather complex operating panel but reading thru the owner's manual takes away that anxiety.

We bought this machine and its matching dryer two years ago; they are stacked in a bathroom in our home. Since buying them, I have washed almost nothing by hand because the washer is so gentle on fabrics. Even some blouses marked "dry clean only" have come out great. On the delicate cycle, it tumbles intermittently, gently swishing each garment clean. It's nice not to have an agitator beating my clothing up. It does not shake during even the fastest spin cycle, although it does make a whirring noise, kind of like a jet engine in the distance. A small price to pay for such a good machine. It holds our queen-sized comforter, to boot.

Have been very happy with this purchase LG and the service from AJ Madison. For a small washer it has surprising capacity. Plenty of cycles. We needed a smaller washer and dryer for upstairs and this pair from LG fit the bill.

I don't normally write reviews. was skeptical at first knowing this was very expensive and on the small size (being 24 inches wide). I had researched several washers and matching dryers all of them were subpar. under performed, failed frequently, and flooded apartments just as often.
So here are the points you need to know.
This washer is flawless. It is quiet, has several functions and settings, it fits in a tight space, uses very little soap and produces very clean clothes. It is the largest and most reliable in its size, this is super efficient, it has most positive reviews across several websites and forums. every easy to setup/run/install-----take out the shipping bolts all 4! Only other thing you have to know is you have to maintain the silicone gasket that makes the water tight seal (grey one that lines the opening). It has to be wiped dry after use and before you close the washer door. It also requires a hot water line as it does not have a water heating element.
