The dryer performs well. My dryer is located in a half bath. The lint trap makes a mess when it is removed. This is due to its size and location. Other than the lint trap this is a great dryer.

Pros:
1. The door swings all the way open, so you do not need to change which way it opens, although, you do have the option to do so. The door can either swing to the right, or to the left.
2. You can turn off the end cycle signal. Because of this, I can't even tell when the dryer is done, since it so quiet.
Cons:
1. The filter for the lint is on top of the dryer, which causes a lot of the dust and lint to fly all over and gather on the top of the machine when you take the filter in and out.
Overall, I am very satisfied with the dryer and would recommend it!

It is a basic machine in some ways. It is a gas model to save on drying costs. It has all the settings we need. We did not seek any fancy bells and whistles; simple knobs were sufficient. It is a good value and gets the job done. We have purchased Whirlpool before and the machines are dependable. The previous model we purchased lasted 15 years. When it came time to replace it with a new one, it installed easily. We barely skipped a beat. We have one of the new Whirlpool washers with no agitator. That thing holds a lot of clothes. This dryer takes the large load and dries it completely. The sensors make certain that the load is dried completely and does not overheat nor waste energy on creating unnecessary heat.
We recommend the machine wholeheartedly.
