We have had our Whilrpool washer & dryer for about a month. It took about two weeks for delivery but was on time as originally scheduled. It was easy to set up and get running. This is our first front load set and it has many more features than our old set. It is very quietWe are still getting used to using it but have run it on many of the cycles, such as whites, bulky (queen comforter), jeans, delicates, and hand wash. I have an extremely dirty (lots of bacteria) job and have used the sanitize cycle as well. Everything has come out looking clean although I have not run lab samples on the bacteria!
The worst part is that the cycles take so long in the wash and with the spin they are fairly dry coming out of the washer and the dryer takes less time. So it is opposite of the old set where the wash was quicker than the dryer.

I have had this machine since August 2011. I have now paid half as much in repairs as I paid for the machine. I have no problems with clothes cleaning - muliple cycles to cover just about anything you can think to put in the machine. The problem is the electronic. Constant error messages which always require a repair person to fix. each of the three problems I have had were different and required a $185 to $350 bill to fix. I am now looking for a replacement top loader. DON'T BUY THIS PIECE OF JUNK!!!!!!

I am not new to washing clothes and just bought this machine. It doesn't work fresh out of the box brand new. The first one, they said, needed a water valve." they replaced it and still no good. They sent a brand new out of the box replacement and still no good. Called the company and they said "that's how they work." I insisted and they sent someone and even he had to agree it wasn't right. After checking my water pressure and connections and being on the phone with the "engineers" it was discovered that my brand new out of the box washer had manufacturer defects and needed replacement parts which they won't install unless I pay them to send 2 men out so they can move the machine out (which 1 man did already in order to check the connections). So they want this consumer to pay to fix their lemon.
