I never had trouble with a washer like i have had with this one, I am not sure if it is because it is my first front loader or that the machine is defective or poorly designed. We have had trouble with the filter clogging and had to have a service rep come and fix that and then the bellow ripped resulting in the washer leaking from the 2nd floor resulting in ceiling damage.I would not purchase this product again, it costs too much money in repairs!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Casper Have had unit about 3 months . 1st uint in H.E. and front loader are so far satisfied . Water usage is far less and still does a good job cleaning.
We have had unit for approximatly 3 months and so far are satisfied. Uses much less water than older g.e. unit It is very easy to operate the controls ,adding detergent and other solutions. Had seen some reviews of front loaders having oders . We have not had any problems with odors ,we do leave door open following use and run afresh cycle monthly. Seems to be a great unit ,hope we get years of service from it.

Washer worked fine for the first year. Washer is now 17 months old and out of warranty. The stabilizer weight broke off of the back of the washer drum. After inspection, I found the stabilizer bar was attached to the plastic drum with 3 lag screws. The plastic threads broke off allowing the stabilzer bar to break free, causing the washer to sound like a space shuttle taking off on the spin cycle. Also getting a code of not enough water going into the washer. Since, the drum replacement will cost about as much as a new washer, I think I will cut my losses and by a new washer. Its a shame because it is only 17 months old They sure don't make appliances like they use to. My parents washer lasted for 20 years.

from the day i bought this we had odd holes in our shirts and couldn't figure out where they were coming from till the front gasket was melted into our clothes.it has been repaired twice and i was told by the repair tech to hope it brakes again before the warranty is up so i can get a full replacement. apparently mine is not the only one that eats clothes. it still does and they won't cover it now cause it broke 7 days again after the warranty was up. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT
