I was a little worried about damage when my product had to be shiped from New York to California.
When the products arrived the Drivers where happy to show me the product before I signed for delivery.

This is our third set of Duet W/D, as we have moved a few times. Love them, not an optional tool for a busy home with three boys.
The newest model has a huge capacity. Awesome!
Our unit started banging the first time we ran it. Bummer. Called Whirlpool Service and they were out the next day. WOW. They ordered the part and have come back and fixed it all. Love it!
The washer is really the key to this pair. Amazing volume and amazing quality. As I said we have bought the same units three times for three new houses. I even had my mom buy one, and she said, "what was I think all those years!"

A little expensive for a dryer but AJ Madison had the best price hands down over all the appliance stores in New Jersey. The unit can be noisy if not perfectly level so be sure to follow the directions and check it. The dryer started to knock after running several loads. Watch out for any dents to the sides of the unit. It has such a huge drum and very little clearance inside so once it heats up and the drum expands, the seam where it was joined together started hitting the side of the unit. After an adjustment the problem was gone and has not returned. It also had some loose wires rattling around that needed to be tied up. Since then it has been a very quiet unit. Because of the high capacity it dries quickly and has many convenient preset cycles. We are very happy with it so far.

First off, we purchased this dryer in cranberry and it is absolutely gorgeous!!! However, upon installing and using it, we immediately started hearing a strange noise. We called a repair man who promptly came to look at it. The noise was from the seam of the drum rubbing against the right side panel of the dryer. When looking at it, the repair man said there was twice the clearance on the left side of the dryer than the right between the drum and side panels. Whirlpool's solution was to install a new drum all together. Still waiting for the drum to come in, so I cannot say whether this will solve the problem or not. We are very hopeful!! Other than the noise, everything else is perfect! Even with the noise, it seems to work fine.
