I love so many things about this dishwasher. I have nothing negative to say about the silverware basket. I LOVE that it is against the door and doesn't take up space in the lower rack. My basket isn't flimsy at all, holds the perfect amount of utensils, and easily slides into place. The machine is quiet and gets dishes clean. This is my favorite dishwasher thus far, and I've had several much more expensive brands in the past. Never again.

BUSTED KNUCKLES. SILVER WARE BASKET GREAT IDEA AT FRONT BUT CHEAP FLIMSY PLASTIC CONSTRUCTION.
ATTACHMENT TO BASKET UNDER DESIGNED AND DIFFICULT TO LATCH ONTO BRACKETS. FOR $600 IT LACKS ADJUSTABLE DISH WARE HOLDERS. SENIOR CITIZENS MUST BE ABLE TO TOUCH THEIR TOES AS THE DOOR IS CLOSE TO THE FLOOR.
THREE CHEERS, THE DISHES HAVE NEVER BEEN CLEANER. NEED FINISH LITE ON CABINET FACE.

AJ Moore was wonderful getting my dishwasher to me by the next day in time for Christmas. I really like my dishwasher but would love it if it had more then one anyware basket for silverware. The picture supplied by Whirlpool shows 3 baskets but there is only one as the photo was only to demonstrate where you can place the basket. I found this a little misleading as you can only read the caption if you enlarge the photo. The dishwasher looks great & cleans great since I retrofitted my silverware baskets from my old machine. I love the clean lines of my new machine. I aslo really like the sensor wash option. My dishes come out squeeky clean. I really like the top rack as it fits so much more then my old unit. Overall I would recommend this dishwasher but would suggest holding on to your old dishwasher's silverware baskets.

Installed the dishwasher today. Loaded it for the first time to test and bottom of the dishwasher leaked. Thoroughly checked the plumbing and it was the manufacturing defect. Called Whirlpool and the only option they suggested was that their techician will come and fix it. I dont want my new dishwasher to be fixed the very first day. TRULY DISAPPOINTED.
