The dishwasher holds a large amount. Both levels can hold tall items- A big plus! The drying is lousy! I need to open the dishwasher after a cycle and allow everything to air dry because it is still wet. I personally do not care at all about this, but for someone who does, it is a huge drawback!

We ordered this dishwasher to replace a 1980's Hotpoint for our college kids. So far they are thrilled with it! It holds more than the old one, runs much quieter and cleans better. They like the "go-anywhere" silverware basket as it gives them more flexibility when they're loading. I wish it had a garbage disposal in it, but the kids are happy with the easy access filters. Also chose this model for the clean, flat-front control panel so the refrigerator door could open fully in front of it. AJMadison had a very competitive price, and the order process was easy. They acknowledged the order the following morning and shipped it the same day. We can't believe how fast it arrived from NY. We're very happy with this purchase!

For the price this is the best dishwasher I have purchase. Low noise takes about 4 hrs to wash on normal wash but come out pretty clean. The racks look really cheap plastic.
