washer is junk, not worth the money, won't make it in a year time without big repairs, or in the 3 years of parts warr. and no labor warr.
tub cover mounts on the right rear breaks on heavy loads,
cover made of too lite of plastic, motor, and shifter fails constanly, cabnet is very weak and bends and buckels, struts pops off mounts on a heavy loads.
washing is weak in the wash cycle.
this washer will selfdistuct itself if used in a off balance or heavyer then normal loads..
you can build a jet engines for a airplanes, but for a simple washers you can't......
i've worked on appliances at a dealer 35 yrs.....

GE machines are getting cheaply made now days! I have had several coin op GE junkers that constantly break down. I had a GE service tech here to repair 2 machines in service for 4 months (under warranty) and replaced the damaged parts from erratic spin cycle on both machines I purchased from this web site! He saw them spin erractically breaking again and said they are the cheap machines and he could do nothing to fix them!!! So, he recommended I contact GE....I'm stuck with 2 new machines and none for my tenants to wash clothes. Good news is I'm purchasing some new whirlpools...I have 2 of the whirlpool machines for 3 years and no probs with them!!!!!

I bought this washer less than a month ago, it doesn't work anymore, plus we still had to pay coin operator again.
