good construction and looks more expensive than it cost. The only thing that is pretty cheap is the safety lock, which feels like it may break when turning the key.
Unit is quiet and keeps a pretty even temperature.

I waited until the unit was at room temp. just as the instructions said, plugged it in and it works great. As for longevity, we'll see, I've only had it for a few weeks. Astetically it looks great under the cabinet, although I would have prefered BLUE led's inside rather than white. Noise level for the compressor is acceptable, however you are aware when it initially comes on. Drawers slide out nicely but again I would have prefered glides rather than molded channels. The price I paid thru A.J. Madison was reasonable and acceptable for this unit, however I would never have paid the suggested retail of $1000, absolutely NOT worth that. All in all I am very pleased, but be aware that my ratings are for the price I paid, not the suggested retail.

Cooling is fine, but interior design and controls are poorly thought out. Shelves are too close together, give little access to the back of the shelf (which itself cannot be pulled all the way out), and have flimsy decorative wood trim on the fronts that cannot be pulled without coming off. Also, there may be a way around this, but the controls are locked after 12 seconds, so they must be unlocked to turn the light on, and, if you do anything for more than 12 seconds, you have to once again unlock it to turn the light off.
