I have had this washer for about 2.5 years and the inner basket has come loose. I Googled the problem and found this be a very common problem. I haven't spoke to GE customer support but I am believing I will get the same run-around that I have found 100's of have gotten from GE.
The washer worked like a dream, when it was operational.

It is no wonder this model is no loger being manufactured, but unfortunate for those of us who purchased it. Unlike "Leaks" experience, my washer doesn't leak, but after 3 years it has been serviced repeatedly for various problems. Thankfully I purchased an extended warranty on this so I have yet to have to pay for the repairs; But I would like to drop the washer off the roof. Very frustrating to have so many problems after only 3 years. I previously owned GE w/d and they lasted a long time, that is why I went with this set when I finally had to replace the others. I guess GE's quality decreased significantly over the years.

this washer is the biggest piece of junk I have ever owned, 3 years old has leaked since day 1, been serviced 3 times, the front and sides are rusted like a 30 yr old washer because of the leaking, now the inside basket has broke off the pully..I'd like the drop this off on the front lawn of GE headquarters... never buy another GE product!!!

This thing is a piece of junk. It just stops between cycles and you have to restart it. My whites are so dingy. I let an Amana at our other house that we are renting and I miss it! It was the best!
