This fridge has been a nightmare since the minute it was delivered. We plugged it in and it ran for 12 hours and never got cold. We called Whirlpool and luckily a technician was sent out the next morning - he stated that refrigerant was not "loaded" into the system. 2 weeks later - we come home to water all over the garage floor (this is our extra fridge) and we had 3 bags of ice in the freezer and it all melted and the fridge was warm again! We called Whirlpool and another service guy came out (different company) and he worked on it for 4 hours and tells me that he needs to order an "evaporator" and that there is a "blockage" in the lines. And that this was his 2nd blocked evaporator on this same fridge in the same day!
I have now been waiting for 2 weeks for this "evaporator" part to be delivered to me - and then I have to call the repair company and schedule when they can come out.
Whirlpool's customer service is quick to pass you off to a repair company and very non-friendly when you suggest a replacement fridge altogether.
By this rate, it will be a year until I finally give up and go out and spend the $500 on a new fridge from another brand!
Very dissappointed in Whirlpool and this Fridge.
