This is the perfect size for the downstairs in-law unit. Changing the side that the door opened from was pretty easy. The food stays solidly frozen. It's cute and I could use the top of the freezer to hold my files. My only complaint are the various noises it makes; humming, gurgling, moaning. The humming was expected since this is a machine. But the moaning and gurgling are a bit much. Since it's in a walk-in closet and I use a white noise machine at night anyway, I'm able to sleep. Although I'd be careful if you couldn't tuck it away somewhere. Maybe it would be quieter if it were under the kitchen cabinet, surrounded by some insulation.

We purchased an Avanti freezer 8 years ago for use in our motorhome. Now, if you are an RVer, you know how limited your "extra" space is. This little freezer fits perfectly at the end of our galley cabinets and it even provides an additional few precious inches of counter top area. Our Avanti quit working after 8 years of service so we simply purchased another and couldn't be more satisfied with this product. The only change that I wish had not been made was the removal of the wire baskets that were so handy in our previous freezer. Perhaps that decision could be re-thought.

Just the right size (2.8 c f) for my purpose which was to store the frozen food purchased from Nutrisystem. It has worked just fine. The freezer in my kitchen was full so I knew I would need more space and plan to use it for kitchen overflow when I no longer need it for the purpose I bought it for.

Not being able to find a small freezer in stores, I found this perfect-size one which fits in my space and holds everything that was crowding my refrigerator freezer.
