Rated 4 out of 5 by AReason love this range now
The range looks great. I love the broiler, the insulated, windowed oven door, the all-stainless exterior. It has some great high-end features at a price that I could afford (still expensive, but not Viking territory.) It did require a service visit immediately which was disappointing. The flame spreader for the oven shifted during shipping just enough so that the thermocouple safety device kept shutting off the oven. I called AJ Madison and they had a repair guy out there in a matter of days. He fixed it for free in about 5 minutes.

Rated 2 out of 5 by ambitio Noisy and not durable
For my small apartment, having a small foot print range that looked good and performed well was important. This unit looks great in the showroom but the looking great stops there.
The chrome around the burners wore off after the very first use (wish that was a joke); I am looking at some combination of brown and grey at the base of the burners, the first thing visible from the top, now.
There is a loud and noisy fan in the unit (inaccessible and impossible to control) that starts about 10 minutes into starting the oven and pumps the heat -hot air- out into the kitchen from the top of the stove. It keep going anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour after you have turned everything off before it shuts down. The fan rattles the shelves in the oven which on top of its own operating noise is rather loud.
The island trim that I was told will help the range be leveled with the counter-top also proved useless. It is an ugly unit only an inch shorter than the factory supplied back that comes with the unit. I installed and immediately removed it and don't really know what to do with it now.
The range is well built. It is easy to take the parts off and clean especially the oven. It generates a strong and even heat.
For a unit at this price range I was somehow expecting a little more quality.

Rated 4 out of 5 by MAMA COOK GREAT STOVE
This is a very good stove, it cooks beautifully and efficiently. One problem that i do have is that the pans that I already own do not fit inside. It also does not fit full sheet pans and large roasting pans. It would be heloful if it came withthe sheet pans that could slide into the racks likethey do in europe, afterall this is a european stove. And it is not deep enough.
