Viking introduced professional cooking to the home when their first range shipped in 1987. Now that same exceptional performance extends into every corner of the kitchen - even the backyard. Refrigerators. Wine Cellars. Dishwashers. Grills. Cookware. Cutlery. Small appliances. It's enough to turn any cook into a chef.
When people think of Viking, the bold, commercial look of the Professional Series range is the image that most likely pops into their heads. Ultra-premium features like high-performance burners, convection baking, and infrared broiling easily handle everything from crème brûlée to rack of lamb. The legendary Viking range is available in gas and electric models, as well as an array of sizes and finishes to fit any kitchen. Available at AJ Madison.
And for those who want professional performance without the professional look, there is the Designer Series. Clean lines and contours meld gracefully into cabinets with style, offering a striking new look for Viking. Fully equipped with outstanding features and power, this complete line of built-in products doesn't sacrifice any of the world-renowned Viking performance for fashion's sake. Haute couture meets haute cuisine.
Viking doesn't see the kitchen as a collection of products, but a complete cooking environment. Cooking isn't a chore - it's an art form. Everything must work together in form and function. Both the Professional and Designer lines deliver the ultimate in performance with a cohesive look for the kitchen. Each line offers a full range of products, so you don't have to resort to mixing and matching brands and styles. Viking offers the truly consistent ultra-premium kitchen. The complete Viking kitchen is complete perfection.
With the same superior features as the Select Ovens, the Premiere models also offer additional features such as a large glass enclosed infrared broiler, meat probe, TruGlide full extension racks, and the exclusive multifunctional digital/analog TimePiece clock.

I have owned the VIking Professional 27" double oven since 2002. Some of the many problems we have had, starting approximately 1-1/2 to 2 years after installation...
-steam venting out around the knobs removes all the lettering on the control panel. -thermostat completely inaccurate, when the oven is set on 300, it will heat up to 475. I have to keep a separate thermometer in it to cook anything. The hinges on the upper oven wore out, and I have to wedge a wooden spoon beside the door to keep it from fallilng open. -It burns out elements frequently- top oven has been replaced multiple times. - Control board is failing, the oven on light is on when the oven is off. I am to the point where I feel it will be necessary to turn the breaker off to make sure the oven is really off. The timer sometimes beeps, sometimes doesn't. The self clean function no longer works.
This appliance was purchased as part of a "viking Kitchen". We have had similar quality issues with the cooktop, dishwasher compactor, and warming drawer. I have never been more disappointed in a purchase I have made. Ever. This appliance replaced a 30 year old GE, which was in better shape than the Viking was 2 years later. I would not recommend this brand to anyone.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by The Big D A little Disappointed
Overall I'm satisfied but have a minor ( I hope) problem with the upper oven indicator light not working. It worked fine for the first few times the oven was used but did not function during the last use. Needless to say that considering the cost of this oven I would not expect any problems at all. Hence the bit of disappointment. Is it too much to expect for things to work the way they should???
