Rated 5 out of 5 by Great look for low price The fume hood looks great. Its simple and clean. The knobs are actually black and not stainless. But thats fine by me as i have black accents with the rest of appliances. The 36' hood actually has the stainless steel knobs. Youll need a special star screw bit to open up the inside of the hood. You might have to take a trip to your hardware store for it, lucky for me i had it. The fan does not come with a power cord. Youll need to purchase separately. I used the one from the old hood. It has two light settings, which work fine. The fan has a dial, so you can adjust it to your liking. Medium works fine most of the time. At its highest setting, it can be loud, but i dont put it to that level. Great look for the cost. Its hard to fin pictures online for this product. The bottom of the hood is actually fully open, only the grease cover and electrical panel cover the inner workings of the hood. The first one i received had a broken fan blade, which can be attributed to shipping, but even more to the manufacturer. The fan is not screwed to the hood housing, as it should be. so it can bounce around in the box during shipping. Luckily the 2nd one arrived fine. 12/2/11
