I purchased this grill after reading a bunch of reviews and comparing it with the entry-level Weber. Two things that tipped my decision: on the Napoleon, the burner controls are on the front, and on the Weber they are on the right shelf. This makes the shelf essentially useless, and I am surprised that Weber put the controls on the right since most people are right-handed and would prefer the use of that shelf over the left side of the grill. Second, the fact that the shelves fold down was desirable since we have a small patio -- the compact size with one shelf folded down is perfect. I really like everything about the grill, the temperature is even and quick to heat up, the cast iron grids work great and make for fine looking steaks, and the 3 zones allow for indirect cooking options. I have not had a chance yet to use the infrared rotisserie, although it would be nice if that was connected to the electric starter as well.
