Rated 2 out of 5 by Loss of Power vs Compressor I bought this unit for its size to place onboard my boat that has a generator. While at the dock, I use shore power electricity. When I go boating I turn on the generator. Because of the disconnecting of electricity briefly, this unit requires i turn off the compressor, wait 5 minutes then turn it back on. The turn on valve is IN THE BACK OF THE UNIT AGAINST THE WALL. Therefore, I had to cut a hole between walls to reach in and turn the compressor on and off. This is a stupid feature. The switch should be inside the freezor, not the back. Bad designed and a pain in the backside. 11/14/12
Rated 2 out of 5 by Bad Lock We purchased this freezer due to the "lock" feature. The lock it come with is not effective or practical. We need the freezer to be locked all the time and we had to pay a locksmith to put an effective lock on it. The lock it comes with is inaccessable, difficult to turn the key and hard to open and close. 2/15/12
