Product Reviews
Rated 2.3 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 1 out of 5 by Don't buy this machine - Design flaw First machine had a defective power button, i.e., the power did not come on. Machine was exchanged. Second machine, Asko service man diagnosed the same problem, except that the power came on intermittently. Asko replaced the control panel. Still the same problem and a new panel is again on the way... Sometimes I can dry the laundry, other times I have to go to the neighbor. Machine is completely unreliable. 11/12/13
Rated 5 out of 5 by Asko dryer We have had previous Asko washer/dryer products. After 12 years of heavy use, and several repairs, the dryer gave out. We were told that this is not unusual. Based on cost, including repairs, this was about $2.50 a week for the time we owned it. Much cheaper than using a laundromat and, considering we chose ventless, probably better for the environment. Overall, we liked the product enough to replace it with a comparable model. 11/29/13
Rated 1 out of 5 What good is a warranty if it never works?! So, I live in a condo and have to use ventless dryer. I started with a prior model 10 years ago, and I'm on to my 4th dryer. At a cost of $1,500 each time, it becomes quite expensive. And, that terrific 2 year warranty is great, except the machine is constantly broken and waiting for a repairman. My only other option is the Bosch ventless, which my mom has and she has a terrible mildew problem with it; so bad that there is now a class action lawsuit against the manufacturer. My husband and I are contemplating a move, which I wouldn't even consider except I'd love to have a dryer (that vents) and works! 5/30/14
