I just looked back at my purchasing records and I have had this fridge for about 15 months. I had a service tech out Today and they said it had a freon leak and it would be cheaper to replace it. It really hasn't been working for about 3 months, but I just got the diagnosis. It looks good and when working was nice, but that is too short of a lifespan for something that was not the cheapest around. I guess I will pay more for a more reliable brand.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Zam2x Looks great, doesn't refrigerate
Purchased this unit a year ago during construction of my outdoor kitchen and have had it in service for only the past 8-9 months. It does not cool to anything below 55 degrees and when the sun shines on it, the temperature rises to the mid 60's. If you open the door even for a moment, it is up to ambient temperature and takes hours to cool back down to the mid 50's. Not at all useful for cold beverages, might be OK as a wine cooler.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Hugh DaMann Do not use outdoors
Fridge will not get below 58 degrees and most time is in the low 60s. I spoke with Summit and they said it's because the fridge is getting hit by direct sunlight. Of course it is as we live in So Cal! I'm very dissatisfied with my purchase and am looking to see what my options are.

Two week in use, no problems
We use as outdoor fridge, large amount of space, holds tons of drinks; also use for salads and such for bbqs.
Nice that it has a power button on front so can turn off for the winter without having to crawl through built in to unplug. Temp display is great as well. Solid.
