Enjoy the ease, speed, and safety of induction cooking with SUMMIT's SINC line of energy efficient induction cooktops.
The SINC424220 is a four zone built-in cooktop featuring a genuine Ceran black glass surface. It uses electromagnetic heat generated by your pot or pan to cook in half the time, using half the energy of conventional ranges. Ten variable touch power settings with digital displays make heating precise and easy. Since the smooth surface has no holes or grates, clean-up is simple: all you need is a gentle wipe with a damp cloth.
Designed for the highest quality cooking experience, the SINC424220 is fully equipped for safety. The temperature of the surface does not get nearly as hot as traditional gas or electric elements and there are no open flames or released gasses. Features include a child lock, automatic safety switch-off, and a residual heat indicator. Beveled edges blend seamlessly into the counter.
Each purchase of an SINC424220 includes a complimentary set of SUMMIT Induction Cookware. This 7-piece collection includes three pots with heat-resistant glass lids and one 9 1/2 inch skillet. All are constructed with a triple layer bottom, with an aluminum core layered between stainless steel to provide cooking contents with even heat distribution. Safe for use on induction, gas, and electric heat surfaces as well as use in dishwashers and ovens.
SUMMIT's induction cooktops bring the superior performance of upscale restaurant cooking into your own home, with energy savings and gourmet style.

Rated 5 out of 5 Cool product, great value
This is a very cool product. We have it in an island in a loft apartment. Needed a smaller cooktop, but like the idea of 4 burners. That's one of the key features. Plus, an induction cooktop at this price point is incredible. Super fast and efficient at cooking. Great looking. And from the initial install and early experience using, very good.
Incidentally, the wiring instructions were a bit unusual. So our electrician took a bit longer to get it wire to work correctly. But other than that, flawless.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Eli Happy with my Summit appliances.
One year ago exactly I have brought two Summit appliances, the induction 24” cooktop SINC424220 and the countertop depth refrigerator FFBF280W.
The cooktop has been installed easily enough by my husband, who is not even an electrician.
So far my experience has been absolutely positive.
Both appliances have always worked properly and are fair quality for the price I have paid them.
I love them because they have a perfect size for my kitchen, also they have an essential and sober design that makes them very, very easy to clean (no useless frills and fripperies).
Besides, Summit employees have been nice and careful whenever contacted by me.

We spent nearly $500 in electrician costs trying to get this cooktop to work. The first electrician felt our cooktop must be defective after he installed it and performed a thorough examination of our house circuitry. Summit sent us a replacement which was installed by a different electrician and had the exact same problem. Summit customer service treated me like some kind of idiot when I called and would not take the time to hear about the problem so a solution might be found. They just told us the electrician must not have installed it correctly, yet could offer no advice as to the correct installation method when we asked. Luckily AJMadison allowed us to return the product because Summit basically said tough luck and offered no help. I would recommend avoiding Summit products as if you have problems you are on your own.
